" Carbon Cycle "

8th October 2010


on the last Friday, we was given a task how to teach about ' carbon cycle' in a class. we already discuss in our group ( Khatijah, Ilzan and Izreen) in how to teach this topic in our future classroom


Beginning :
(Induction set)


1) Before start my lesson, i will ask one of my students to turn of the fan or aircond
-Let the student experience the uncomfortable warm and they will curious why the teacher ask to turn of the fan/aircond
-From there we bring them into our article's topic,which is "Carbon cycle".
2) After that i will show them some video about natural phenomena (eg. Volcanic eruption)

3) ask them some question after finish show the video
- What are the phenomena that you watch just now?
- What cause them to happen?


or What are the consequences of these phenomena?




Development Phase:


In the development phase, I ask them what do you feel when the fan is turn off?
Their answer will relate to the topic which is one the effect of carbon cycle -cause the green house effect make we feel hot.

Next, I will explain the topic by using powerpoint presentation ,included some pictures/diagram

Teacher will ask several questions,which will develop critical thinking among the students.
eg :
"What the relationship CO2 with the unpleasant temperature that had been experience?"
" Have you ever heard about Greenhouse effect?"
" Why it is happen?"
Now let them work in group.To figure out what point need to stress on.
After they done. Let them present what they have watch and read.

COMPUTER - BASED TECHNOLOGY - SURIA AND SYAMILA

On 1st of Oktober,my classmate Suria and Syamila have present about this topic.Actually im not really know about computer and its property since im the one whose i think " Buta IT" . (^_^). Therefore...what they had presented on that day was very impressed me.For example,they talk about computer,software and hardware, and so on a which we use everyday in more details and how its worked.

They also had present the benefits of using tecnology as a medium to deliver our lesson in class..they also explain how to conduct the class when we using technology such computer.

After the presentation,im realize how important the technolgy in our life also very useful in education...but...juz know the theory is doesnt enough...i must to hands on this technology and know how its function and to used it properly..
